The Ageing Well portfolio funds innovative and effective projects and people that support older Australians to age well and die well, in the place they call home. A Community that is better for older adults is better for people of all ages.

Medical Research & Health

We want everyone to benefit from science's potential to improve health and save lives.
We aim to do this by:
- Supporting science and scientists to solve the urgent health challenges facing everyone
- Funding researchers to take on important questions with creative approaches that push boundaries
- Collaboratively closing critical funding gaps, incentivising new behaviours and improving research culture, particularly for women
- Supporting research that translates into community impact and better health.

The Medical Research & Health Strategy is currently under review and to be updated in late 2024.
