Philanthropy Eligibility

Requests for funding from the discretionary trusts must be for charitable purposes from charitable institutions (except scholarship and other trusts where individuals may apply).

For grant seekers wishing to approach Trusts there is a typical application process to follow.

• Use our search facility to identify those trusts that may be appropriate for your particular area of funding interest.
• Read the application procedure for the Trust you wish to approach for funding.
• Download the guidelines and the application form (if appropriate).
• Respond to any specific application guidelines that may apply.
• Submit an application together with support documentation.

Individuals and charities from outside Australia are generally not eligible to apply; however, we have provided below some links to a number of other web sites that may be helpful to charitable organisations and grant seekers in other countries.

Most of our trusts can only assist individuals who live in Victoria and charitable organisations with an office in Victoria. If you are outside of Victoria there is a specific selection option in the Category Search facility in order to identify suitable trusts.
